Kennewick Baptist Church began in 1950 when Richland Baptist Church felt the need to start a like-minded church in the Kennewick area. They built the first portion of this building in 1953.
Those first few families may have never anticipated how God would use their faithfulness and love for Him to begin a long legacy of exalting Christ and reaching this community. On any given Sunday you can still find people worshiping with us who were here back in those early days.
We still call the city of Kennewick our home and are delighted to be located in the middle of an ever changing neighborhood that needs to know Jesus. Through God’s kindness and faithfulness KBC has continued to be a means of gospel proclamation in the community. Dustin Hall is the thirteenth lead pastor of KBC. He began serving in this role in 2007.
