UPWARD Basketball is a Christ-centered children’s basketball league based on Biblical principles, rooted in the good news of the gospel, and encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and Christ-like character. Weekly practices include team devotions and each game is focused on player integrity, personal improvement, teamwork, respect, and how the good news of Jesus should be shaping our hearts and lives.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024 SEASON IS NOW OPEN and must be done online. Registration closes on October 21, 2023. The cost is $95/child. Please call the KBC Office @ (509) 783-3146 or e-mail us if you have any questions at: Reception@KennewickBaptistChurch.org
- You can use the links below to access online registration. Every athlete must attend an evaluation. Evaluations will take place at the KBC gym on 10/17/23 (5:00pm – 7:00pm) & 10/21/23 (10:00am – NOON) and more information about these evaluations will be available when you register.
- Practices will begin the week of 1/2/24. Practices will last approximately one hour and there is only one practice per week per team on either Tuesday or Thursday evening.
- The first game is 1/13/24 and the last game will held on 2/25/24 (7 games total). Games last approximately one hour and take place on Saturdays between 9:00am and 6:00pm at the KBC gym. Game times will depend on player age.

If you are interested in coaching/volunteering for UPWARD, please fill out the UPWARD VOLUNTEER APPLICATION below. After filling out this initial application, any UPWARD volunteers will also be asked to complete an additional application package specific to those working with children/minors at KBC. This will be sent to you at a later time and you can complete it and turn it in to the KBC Office. Thanks!
